Not really...but since it didn't suit some friends to get together, we are doing a little bit of catching up on things we needed to do anyway. And there are always things we could play with the children,so this post will not be too long....I was thinking about a game of pitch and catch with Ryan. It is a pleasant evening, and we had intentions of spending some of the evening outdoors!
We just took a 6 day trip...to the Baltimore Hospital for a yearly check-up for Eric, then on to Washington for two days and then to Virginia to see my brother and family.
A week ago we were in Washington DC! We have piles of pictures of our trip...It was a memorable weekend for us. We actually made it to the Nation's Capital. Amazing! The first day in DC we saw the Capital, Supreme Court, White House and lots of monuments. The second day we went into 4 museums. There was alot more to see, but two days of walking was about all our feet could take! They were really long days, too. Our train would leave around 7:30A.M. (but we had to catch the bus over an hour earlier to take us to the train station.) In the evening our train departed about 7:00 to take us back to Baltimore. It was past 10:00 till we got off the bus at the last stop.We sacrificed alot of sleep to pull it off...but we think it was worth it!
