I was hoping that somehow my last update was saved! Last week I wrote for about  half an hour, and a storm was coming so I decided to finish up quickly, and just then the electricity went out, and didn't come back on for several hours. Last week was a very rainy, stormy week. I enjoy those summer storms, but my children do not! It was pretty unusual  for the electricity to go out, the children didn't find it exciting like I remember my sisters and I did at home. We almost expected it when there was a close storm.
I was going to have Mom's group the following day, so it did put me behind in trying to get ready...I couldn't do laundry, sweep, or use the oven! I could use the broom and a rag on my dirty kitchen floor, but it was so dark! I'd like to write so much more, but there will a better time,since I need to finish making breakfast. Jason left for work without the bagel and yogurt I'd prepared for him.  I found it still on the stove when I got up again an hour later, so Ryan and I shared it. He must have forgot about it because I asked if that sounded good, and he said he'd take one. So once again, he is off to work for half  the day on only a banana!
