God's Blessings Are On Those That Obey Him

Monday, January 9, 2012

I finally decided to get up, (was trying to get a little afternoon nap.) With the baby moving, and Jason working right on the other side of the wall in the garage... it wasn't going to happen. He is changing tires I think, and the noisy tool sounds like a machine gun! Then the baby got a case of vigorous hiccups! The children were being nice and quiet though...
We are fairly healthy at the moment, although I am going on two weeks of having a sore throat.
It doesn't get worse (except during the night) or better, no matter what I've tried. It is possible that it is actually acid reflux, caused by heartburn.( Which I have every night lately)
My husband decided not to go skiing today. A group was getting together to go early this morning.
I did my best to give him the freedom to go if he wanted to. I told him...hey you aren't pregnant or nursing right now, you should take your chance! I'm not really sure he was amused.
Each time it snows a little bit, the children get into their snowsuits to play in it.  Were they really able to sled?! There sure hasn't been enough for a snowman.
School is going well. We really didn't take any break for the holidays. We would like to go somewhere fun like Cosi Museum this month though.
I haven't experienced having a new baby and teaching school yet,  so I am figuring on not too much school the beginning of next month.
It still seems rather unreal that we took an unexpected trip to Pa right before Christmas for the funeral of our friends precious 'heart baby'. Last year we traveled to NY between Christmas and New Year for the funeral of another little son of our friends. It is hard to grasp that they both aren't here with us. When you pray so often for someone, you find yourself praying again, then realize that "Oh, God, they are with you now!" So you pray for the family whose hearts are hurting. And it reminds me to tell my children once again "Did you know that you are precious!?"
I think they might feel the most loved right now if I would start making supper!! So I'm off...
