God's Blessings Are On Those That Obey Him

Ciara is taking care of Venesa, rocking her in the little child sized rocking chair. I had to set the timer for Jennika's turn,(to settle a fight ) but then she got busy helping me with making lunch instead. Ryan is working at his last subject for the day...and Eric is playing by himself in the living room.
Today Jason is working at Kevin's shop for most of the day I think.
This morning I 'tried' to get in some fresh air and exercise before Jason left. It was a very short walk, and Eric cried to go along, and was still crying when I got back! I have an exercise bike that I can use in the basement;
this year I am finding it much harder to get a moment to use it; I guess because I have more little people to teach.
I'm looking forward to couple's night this Friday. Jason and I have some preparation we need to do one of these evenings. Not much, just print out some papers and preview some videos, but that might take awhile.
On Valentine's Day evening I fed the children their supper and sent them off to play in the basement. Well, I was going to... but it was fun for the older ones to help me set the table 'pretty' for Daddy....so I had help with that. I had to get out the 'snuggli' for my baby so I could finish my special supper.
When Jason came home, he had a card for each of us! That was so very special, and the children treasure their cards. I was so blessed that he took time to do something special for them! Since my whole day was spent on the supper for two! :)   Oh, we did have a 'picnic' for lunch (the children and I) with heart shaped
tuna sandwiches topped with heart shaped cheese. We sat on the floor with a table cloth and imagined we were at the park on a warm sunny day.
We got to eat our supper alone, although it was much later than the 8:00 goal we'd made earlier in the day.
Baby is 3 weeks old... Eric has accepted her presence well, showing alot of maturity as far as sharing mom.
Although he likes to go to sleep with me beside him, if he hears her cry, he says "you better go to her, mom".
One time he said to me,"feed your baby, mom!"  There was one evening that he was having a hard time....and
he figured Ryan could take care of  Venesa instead. He said I needed to feed him! Finally he decided he could share once again and insisted that I take her from Dad.
By the way, we didn't go to Cosi Museum then like I'd mentioned we hoped to. Two days before Venesa was born we took the afternoon off  to go to a toy and train museum. It was small, but the children could play
with some things there, so they loved it. Then for supper we ate at Ihop.
